Best Western Inn at Blakeslee-Pocono

I loved my stay here. The room was super clean. The indoor heated pool was amazing! The location is great! Close to everything. I felt safe the whole time! This felt more of a family oriented hotel, not a party hotel that you sometimes come across. The staff was very polite and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

The room for pets was close to the back door with a nice grassy area designated for pets and a supply of bags. The room was spotless and sizeable.Our room was an accessable one. I wish the shower was accessable from the floor. We didn't need a tub. My spouse has mobility issues lifting his legs and the tub was one of the highest I've ever seen. The staff was very friendly. The included breakfast was decent. With temps outside in the teens, my favorite amenity was the indoor heated pool.

Very happy with our choice to stay here. Rooms are very clean. (As is the majority of the property) The breakfast is pretty good although I prefer a waffle maker to the pancake machine. The pool is a bit small (and it is definitely heated! Would like it a bit cooler during the current heatwave) but very relaxing. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel.

But what elevated this stay from good to unforgettable was the staff. Exceptional hardly does them justice. They were warm, attentive, and deeply committed to guest experience. When an unruly dog caused a disturbance, the team responded immediately with professionalism and care — repeatedly apologizing and actively trying to reach the owners. It was clear they take pride in protecting the calm, relaxing atmosphere guests come for. And then… the amenities. The pool and sauna feel more boutique retreat than hotel perk. Let me emphasize something seasoned travelers will appreciate — the indoor pool is actually warm. Not “heated” in theory, but truly comfortable (around 80°), making it absolute bliss after a cold day outside. One of the biggest surprises of the trip was a beautiful family-friendly hike less than two miles from the hotel. Close enough to be effortless, yet scenic enough to feel like you’ve stepped into a nature magazine — peaceful trails, fresh mountain air, and just the right balance of adventure without being strenuous. It quickly became one of our favorite memories from the trip and added an unexpected layer of magic to the entire stay. And breakfast — do not sleep on it. This is not your standard hotel spread. The variety alone impresses, but watching the fresh pancakes being made was oddly mesmerizing, and the parfait bar? Worth waking up early for. Insider tip: layer it — every bite gets better. What’s hardest to capture is the feeling this place leaves you with. It’s clean, inviting, relaxed, and thoughtfully managed — the kind of stay where nothing goes wrong because people are quietly making sure everything goes right. Before we even checked out, we were already talking about when we could return. Some hotels are convenient. Some are comfortable. The rare ones become part of your favorite family memories. This is one of them — and we will absolutely be back.

We booked this Best Western through Expedia because it was pet-friendly, and that was the main reason we chose it. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised — it turned out to be better than I had imagined. The front desk staff were very nice to us and made check-in smooth. We had reserved two rooms: one with a king bed and one with two double beds. I would have preferred if they offered two queen beds instead of doubles, but since it’s standard at Best Western to have double beds, it was fine. The rooms themselves were decent, clean, and matched the standard you’d expect from a Best Western. The location is very convenient, right off the highway, with a gas station and a Burger King directly across the street. That made quick stops for food or fuel super easy. There’s also a pool, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use it. Breakfast in the morning was simple but enjoyable. The kids liked it, though because most of the hot options included ham and bacon, we couldn’t eat them. The staff were kind enough to make us some fresh fried eggs, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. All in all, this hotel was a solid and convenient stop in the Poconos. It’s not fancy, but it delivered what we needed: a pet-friendly stay, helpful staff, decent rooms, and a convenient location. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

It was a great hotel for going to the Poconos raceway. The rooms were clean, spacious and great king size beds. The pool areas was nice and warm, along with the pool temperature to match. They even had a nice sauna. Open 10am-10pm. Plenty of lounge chairs. They also have private outside seating area in the shade right outside the pool area. On the opposite outside of the building where they have the perfect space for your dog to play and use the bathroom ( hotel is dog friendly for a fee). The breakfast was soooo good! They have several options, I really enjoyed the yogurt bar and the automatic pancake maker. Over all a great clean place to rest and relax. We will be back the next we are passing through the area.
